HOW TO BOOK

Contact – You are welcome to contact Upplev Sydafrika for more information about travel packages, itineraries, prices as well as our experiences in South Africa.

Travel plan / Itinerary and price proposal – After you have contacted Upplev Sydafrika and decide to travel, we will send you a travel package/itinerary and a price proposal.

Flight and transport – We recommend you to book your own flight through internet. This gives you a larger possibility to decide on your travel times and departure city. If you are early and flexible concerning your travel dates, you will then be able to find affordable prices.

We assist in booking your rental car. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility to be able to drive yourself around, while we arrange the practical aspects of your trip. If you rather wish to book a transport that takes you between the destinations we are happy to assist with bookings.

Deposit – If you are happy with the itinerary and price proposal, we require a deposit of 10 % of the total package price. Please note that some accommodation and safari package require a deposit of 20 % – 50 % of total price, to guarantee the booking (this information will be given before the booking is made).

Final payment – The final payment should be paid to Upplev Sydafrika approximately 30 days prior to the departure date. Bookings for the peak season in December / January may require that an earlier final payment be made (this information will be given before the booking is made).

Enjoy your trip! Final information about your trip will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before your departure date.

TRAVEL TERMS

Upplev Sydafrika booking terms and conditions:

Payment via Upplev Sydafrika AB
Upplev Sydafrika require a deposit of 10 % of the total package price to secure your booking.

The deposit should be paid within 7 days after receiving the invoice. Please note that some accommodation, safari, tours and activities package require a higher deposit to guarantee the booking, specially during peak season. The deposit is usually between 20 % – 50 % of total price. This information will be given before the booking is made.

The bookings are considered confirmed only after receiving the deposit.

All payments are made through Upplev Sydafrika via Swedish bank account (attached pdf-invoices). The invoices are sent electronically. Conversion from ZAR/USD to SEK is based on exchange rate, but actual cost will depend on exchange day, the day of payment. The final payment should be paid to Upplev Sydafrika approximately 30 days prior to the departure date. Bookings for the peak season in December / January may require that an earlier final payment be made. This information will be given before the booking is made. Note that the exchange rate fluctuates. The bank’s currency surcharge of 3 % is paid when invoicing. Upplev Sydafrika is accepting payment by card, contact us for more information.

Cancellation policy
Travel package includes: accommodation, safari, transport, tours/activities and concierge packages:

Upplev Sydafrika reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees, should a confirmed reservation be cancelled within the following periods:
– More than 31 days prior to booked travel package (first date): the deposit will be forfeited
– Less than 30 days prior to booked travel package (first date): 100 % of the full package charge

Cancellation of accommodation safari, tours and activities package that required a deposit to guarantee the booking will be recharge based on local exchange rate on exchange day of cancellation. However, the refund will not exceed the amount paid to Upplev Sydafrika.

An administrative cost to cover bank fees may be added in case of cancellation.

All cancellations must be received in writing.

Cancellation insurance: Please review your insurance/protection for cancellation in case of illness before making a booking with Upplev Sydafrika.
