When you make a booking with Upplev Sydafrika, via e.g. email or telephone, we collect personal information from you in order to fulfill your enquiry / booking. This information includes: name, gender, age and in some cases date of birth for all travellers involved in the booking (adults and children). Address and contact details are usually added for the main traveller (the person who makes the booking).
In the event of personal contact, we also collect other personal information in order to tailor your booking as accurate as possible. It can e.g. be information about allergies, health conditions or other information about you or other people that are included in the booking. In order to be able to fulfill an enquiry, the information is passed on to the suppliers concerned, ie. accommodation, safari lodges, car rental companies, etc.
As a client, you have the right to request access to, correction or in some cases deletion of your personal data. Also request a restriction on further processing of your personal data as well as a right to object to the processing. In that case, we will notify each recipient to whom the personal data has been disclosed of any corrections or deletion of data and the limitation of processing of data in accordance with your wishes. You have the right to contact the Data Inspectorate if you believe that we do not process your personal data correctly.
