A return trip with a start in the gastronomic capital town, Franschheok followed by at visit to the traditional wine capital, Stellenbosch for 3 nights. Thereafter a visit to vineyards in Botriver and then onwards to the scenic coastal town of Hermanus for 3 nights. End the trip in one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Cape Town, for 3 nights. During the tour you will visit Upplev Sydafrika’s specially selected vineyards – some of South Africa’s finest!
Dates: The trip can be booked on any preferred day of the week, and the duration of the stay can be adjusted according to your wishes.
Length of trip: 9 nights / 10 days in Western Cape Provence + 2 travel days (flight).
Size of groups: Minimum 4 persons for own transport + driver/guide.

Preliminary Itinerary
Day 1. Cape Town Airport/Franschhoek.
Arriving Cape Town Airport in the morning. Transfer to the gastronomic town of Franschhoek. Welcome drink and lunch at a selected beautiful vineyard with stunning views over Franschhoek wine valley. Check in at a nice, centrally located pre-chosen Guesthouse. Afternoon, evening and dinner at your own.
Day 2. Franschhoek/Stellenbosch.
After breakfast wine tasting at two selected vineyards together with the winemaker. Picnic-lunch at a beautiful Wine Estate. Afternoon at you own in the picturesque town and dinner booked in central Franschhoek.
Day 3. Stellenbosch.
Transfer to Stellenbosch for wine tasting at selected wineries. Lunch at a restaurant beautifully located in Hidden valley. Afternoon and dinner on your own in Franschhoek.
Day 4. Botriver/Hermanus.
On the way from Franschhoek to Hermanus, stop at Botriver for introduction of winemaking and winetasting, picnic at the farm. Arriving Hermanus and check-in at a nice pre-chosen Guesthosue, with stunning views over Walker Bay. Often you can spot some whales, dolphins and seals in the ocean. Afternoon at your own, dinner booked at a selected restaurant in the central Hermanus.
Day 5. Hermanus.
A whole day at your own. Choose between different activities around Hermanus: horseback riding among wild horses, whale watching, Shark cage diving, golf at Hermanus Golf Club or Arabella Golf Estate, kayaking, do some shopping at galleris and Hermanus market. Experience the magnific 21 km Grotto Beach etc. Dinner and wine tasting together with a winemaker at a nice restaurant in Hermanus.
Day 6. Hermanus/Hemel-en-Aarde.
After breakfast: winetasting at Hemel-en-Aarde, Hermanus wineroute. We have the opportunity to meet passionate winemakers, at one of the well-known vineyards in the valley, and with them share their love for the ulitmate within winemaking. Dinner at your own in Hermanus.
Day 7. Hermanus/Cape Town.
After breakfast, transfer to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Cape Town. Check-in at pre-chosen Boutique Hotel or Guesthouse. In the afternoon citytour around Cape Town. Dinner booked at a nice restaurant in Cape Town.
Day 8. Cape Peninsula/Cape of Good Hope.
A whole day excursion to Cape Point nature reserve and Cape of Good Hope and stop i Simonstown, Boulders Beach with penguins. Chapman’s Peak Drive etc. Picnic-lunch on the way. Dinner at your own in Cape Town.
Day 9. Cape Town/Constantia.
After breakfast, winetour in the green, lush landscape of Constantia Winelands, where some of the oldest vineyards are located. Lunch at award-winning restaurant and vineyard in Constantia together with winemaker. Tour around Hout Bay, Camps Bay etc. Afternoon, evening and dinner at your own.
Day 10. Cape Town/Airport.
Visit V&A Waterfront with exciting streetlife, shopping, restaurants or relax by the pool. Transfer from Cape Town to Airport for flight home.
2 DAYS ADD-ON SAFARI IN GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Day 10. Cape Town/Dulini Collection.
After breakfast transfer to Cape Town Airport for domestic flights to the Kruger Park. At the airport you will be picked up and transported to Dulini River Lodge. Afternoon check-in at Dulini with game drive / safari.
Day 11. Dulini Collection.
Safari program at Dulini River Lodge.
Day 12. Dulini River Lodge/Departure.
After morning game drive / safari transfer to the airport. Flights to Johannesburg Airport for further flight to Europe.
